I started working on #1 70" x 24" painting the Protesters. then POW the Covid 19 pan hit, the NHG ran a photo by Carol L while I worked on #1—then "BLM" is my reaction 2 the murder by a police officer of an unarmed helpless man./ it is also 70" x 24". I spent 2 years on both (acrylic/canvas paintings? It just came along as I got close to my 90th B.D. my agent, J.F/ and gallery owner M.T. wanted them along with 20 some loose sketches that lead up to the 70" x 24" 4 a show on my 90th B.D- on 11-13-2021 3-6 pm and your r looking at them now/ as I write this I have not seen the show andhave no clue as 2 how it is hung.

I have been moved by all the major events of the past few years/ the Protesters and "BLM"/ the large BLK. Fig just came up all at one time-make of it what you will.

As I was about 2 finish the 70" x 24" canvas of the "Protesters,” the world was overnight changed ever to Covid-19 and hundreds of thousands started 2 die, and Trump knew about it in Jan but called it a joke, a fucking joke..such a fool, our country is being destroyed from WITHIN. I am 88-hope 2 b 89 just 4 spite now. So I can vote against that M.Fer in NOV- on THE 13*/ I will do it on paper if I cannot walk 2 the station with Judith

Looming in the foreground of the painting, throngs of protesters, is a dark, hooded figure that looks like the grim reaper. I don’t know where that came from. Sometimes things just come out of your brush. Then you just have to go with them.
